Letter from Khenchen regarding Yangsi Rinpoche's Enthronement

YangsiDear Sangha,

We are sure many of you received this letter from Khenchen Tsewang Gyatso Rinpoche yesterday regarding the making of offerings for our Yangsi's Enthronement. At the end of the letter, there is a PayPal button to facilitate making a donation. We will be sending a donation from Namdroling, Montana AND we will list everyone's names when we send the check by June 15th.

Here is the letter:

To all the Devotees of our late Holiness, Palyul Students and Friends:

As you all know we found the Reincarnation of His Holiness Penor Rinpoche (our Yangsi) under the guidance of Kyabje Chatral Rinpoche. Now with great joy and happiness, we shall hold the enthronement ceremony at Palyul Mother Monastery on 31st of July 2014 on the auspicious 4th day of the 6th month according to the lunar calendar.

We, Namdroling Monastery, to represent all our Palyul centers outside of Tibet and China, wish to make a grand mandala offering of body, speech, and mind with a special Ganachakra Puja to our beloved Yangsi Rinpoche, with the wish and prayers that he may enjoy a long life to accomplish all his enlightened activities to benefit countless beings and lead them on the path to liberation all the way to enlightenment.

So for this first and most auspicious Enthronement Ceremony for our Yangsi Rinpoche, we would like to offer the chance for every center and every student to become involved via making a contribution. This way you can still enjoy and feel the blessings even if you could not really attend the enthronement in person.

I request every center to collect your donations from your center members and then send those contributions to our upstate center.

I want to let you all know that you can send all your contribution to Palyul Ling International, New York upstate. We will list all contributions with your name, if received as individuals, or through our centers' name to report to our Yangsi Rinpoche through Namdroling representatives.

Please kindly send your contribution before 15th of June 2014, so that we have enough time to prepare for the actual ceremony.

With blessings and gratitude,

Khenpo Tsewang Gyatso with
Khenpo Tenzin Norgay and
Lama Tsewang Norbu

Emaho!

YangsiOfficial Announcement of the Recognition of His Holiness Penor Rinpoche's Reincarnation

It is a matter of great joy and pleasure to inform all the disciples and well-wishers of His Holiness Penor Rinpoche residing around the globe that our beloved root guru has been reborn in Tibet. According to His Holiness Jadrel Rinpoche's prophecy letter, Penor Rinpoche's Yangsi (reincarnated being), was born near Leten Tramo Drag or Dung Lung Tramo Drag, the sacred place where the Nyingthing Yabshyi (The Four Cycles of Heart Essence Teachings) was revealed. Based upon this prophecy letter, combined with pure visions of Tulku Thubten Palzang Rinpoche, the Yangsi was authentically recognized.

On 31st July 2014, the auspicious day of the Buddha's First Turning of the Wheel of Dharma, the 4th Day of the Sixth Tibetan month–2141 Royal Year–the Yangsi will be enthroned.
We request all our Dharma brothers and sisters to carry out the following prayers for the long life of the Yangsi and to overcome all the obstacles thereby ensuring the success of the enthronement ceremony.

1. Barche Lamsel (Prayer to Avert Obstacles on the Path)

2. Sampa Lhundrub (Prayer to Spontaneously Accomplish All Wishes)

3. Neten Chagchod (Supplication Prayer and Offering to the Sixteen Elders)

We will inform later about additional prayers needed in times to come.
